Emma rescued this male blue & red koi betta when she discovered he had a tumor growing on his body in 2024. Lovingly referred to as "Tracy" by a favorite customer, Emma decided this little guy could be helped and given a forever home, despite his terminal condition. Betta fish have amazing bodies that can often change color/shape throughout their lives, because of this they are sometime susceptible to abnormal scale growth/tumors that can impact their quality of life over time. Tracy had a shorter lifespan, between 1-2 years, but was kept free of pain in an environment that supported his unique needs until he said farewell.
